Question Jebao pump ok for SW use?

I just threw out a water fountain that was leaking, but salvaged the Jebao PP-388 submursible pump from it. I looked it up on the web, but every reference to it is for pond or fountain use. Anyone know if these Jebao pumps are safe for marine use?

I cleaned it really well, soaked it in vinegar, etc., so I know it's clean, but the impeller shaft is not ceramic. It's silver, so it's likely stainless steel, but I'm not sure.

Thanks,

David,

You can use it, but if it starts to rust, pull it. Many of us use fountain pumps, there very very useful in this hobby.
