Yep.. this is a niger trigger.

The most reef safe triggers are blue throat, crosshatch, pink tail and niger.

First Started.

Tank growing at 6 Months

Tank at it's best at 1 Year

Lightbulb Meltdown/Tank Crash(ing) 1.5 years

What was left after crash at 1.75 years (look in the sand)

Tank Recovering from lightbulb incident at 2 years

It looks better now than ever before, but I don't have a current pic.

Hey Xenon.. What kind of rock is that? And how have you fastened it together to keep it off the bottom? Or are you just that skilled in stacking?

It's all Xenia. I'm in the process of removing it all but just haven't had time. I pretty much donate it to whoever swings by as freebies.

easye123,
I mainly use just a calcium reactor and that is it. Once every 6 months I'll toss in a cup of carbon but honestly don't see any difference. I didn't use any carbon for the first year or even more if I recall. I attribute my growth to the XM 10Ks. Those things grow crazy. You can see my original green slimer frag in the first picture. Also the caps are original as well.
