Well after 3 days of relentless persecution my Lineatus kicked the carpenters ace and he's king!

Thanks,
I didnt really want to put the females in their cause they lack the better coloration, but i figured the males will do better with them in there!

Just 2 weeks, but he is doing well. I tried one a year or so ago, and the wrasse immediately hid for 2 days then reappeared and died.

Beautiful! Can you please give me some info on your experience with the pink margin? I have cleared my tank of larger fish, and a few small ones and want to replace them with this fish. What type of personality & swimming habits?

He was shy for the firt 3 days! Then finally he braved it and has been swimming around with no issues. He spends most of the time on the half of the tank he sleeps at, but no problems with any fish and he was added before the Scotts and Lineatus. I was a little worried he would bother the new ones cause he is slightly larger and added first, but so far so good!

Benf, those are great pics. Don't think I've seen beauties like those at my LFS. What other fish do you have in the tank? Are they quite active and visible?

WOW...how about a FTS? I am getting the pink margin. We had one at the shop..once. We handpicked him at the wholesaler's and he was magnificent...every color of the rainbow. Ever since then I have wanted one. Wish me luck..
