April NTOTM RULES for ENTRY

Hello Everyone!!

Here are the April's nano tank contest rules! I've decided to help those caught in the middle of large tanks and smaller nano tanks, so this month we're going to have entries from 25 gallons - 59 gallons, with the display being at least 20 gallons. This means you cannot enter a 15 gallon tank with a 15 gallon sump, but you can enter a 20 gallon with a 5 gallon sump!

People outside the United States are encouraged to join, this is 95 to 223 liters!

Please post your best full tank shot, (1) and 1 (optional) livestock shot, the top 3 will be chosen by me and members of the Socal Nano Reefer's (SCNR) and will be announced on the 15th of April.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

Good luck everyone and most importantly, have fun!

i don't think the definition of the term "nano" has ever been defined in this hobby. if we don't see much of a response i will spread it more

fish2223, please post pics of your current tank when you get a camera, past set ups are not eligible.

well I'm going to mix things up a bit...a nano tank of the monte doesnt just have to be a reef so here it is...

a Oceanic 33G cube Peacock Mantis (O. Scyllarus) paradise

tanks specs are 33G cube and stand, fluval 305 filter, T8 NO 50/50 light, 25 lbs of LR, 30 lbs of sand, and lots of rubble and shells for burrow building

and i got bored so i might as well post this...who needs jaws when you have monte on the loose...

Ok I thought I would play along even though my camera isn't the best in the world for taking shots in the tank :-( One day I will upgrade it but for now I work with what I have ...

This is a picture of my 36 gallon bowfront tank .. No sump or fuge .. Just run a filter and skimmer and several power heads . 2x65 watt PC lighting by Coralife with blue LED moon lights

so a 24g Aquapod would be 1 gallon too small to enter, right?
