Emperor adult with a Juv?
I would like to add a Juv emperor since my adult never really was a FULL Juv. What are the chance of this happening ok. My tank is 360gl. 8' long 3' wide
Thanks

there will be some chasing. how big is your current emp?? it is a tuff call, you can mix angels im just not sure about two large angels that are the same...

I wouldn't risk it.
Emps are pretty pugnacious with other species of angel - I've witnessed this first hand. Everything I've read has suggested two of the same species, juvvies or adults, would be a battle to the death in a (relative to the ocean) confined space. |

Not a good idea. You might have been able to get away with it if the juv. was the established fish and you were adding the adult 2nd but since the adult is in now it will more than likely chase the juv. If the juv. survives you will also have issues when it starts to change into an adult.
I have a med. sized Asfur Angel and it generally chases most smaller fish for a few days after they are introduced. I can't imagine what it would do to another Asfur. |

Hi
I think you are asking for trouble. The only case I know where it works at least halfway is a 5000L (ca. 1500 gal) tank. Even in such a big system the smaller one is chased around every once in a while. IMO, don't risk it Jens |
