My Reds

Experimenting taking pics of my red zoanthids with different camera settings.

No photoshop.

Washed out pics...





NO! They arent pink!!





Still look pink to me...






A little better...






Put the colony in the MIDDLE of the viewfinder!

OK...





Oddly, the most accurate color came when I wasnt trying to photograph them!





Accidental, but welcome, frag...





I am going to keep experimenting. They are truly a deep red color...I WILL get them to show that way someday!!

Looks nice. BTW, check/set your color balance level on your digital camera. If you set the color balance correctly, it'll be easier for you to take pictures of your tank's true colors.

Thanks for all the compliments.

I have indeed been playing with the white balance. It was a bit easier on my Nikon D70, but since selling that I am finding new ways to make this point & shoot work for me.

As far as price...lets just say the LFS could have charged a LOT more.
