What to use for flow in my stock tank?

I am setting up another frag tank, using a 50 gallon rubbermaid stock tank. I was wondering what you guys thought would be better for flow? A closed loop system with a blueline pump and an ocean motion or 3 or 4 koralia pumps? Koralia is definately a cheaper way to go! It will have just acros and a few LPS.

Thanks,
Seth

In addition to a closed loop powered by a little giant pump, I have a insump pump for flow and 3 Maxijets in each tank.

Today, we are adding a third prop tank and we're gonna change everything. I got a Dart which will feed all 3 tanks. Closed loop will be eliminated and I will use Maxi jets and Koralias if I feel I need to add more flow.

im not sure what that is. my only two considerations have been a closed loop and the koralias pump.

I would think that with the air lift for current in the tank it wouldnt be near enough for SPS and wouldn't it also leave alot of bubbles all in the tank? and let salt spray everywhere?

If you want cheap water flow use a maxxi jet w/ a MJmod. The whole package runs around $45 and it's easy. There are 2 choices on output 2400gph and 1400gph. I would suggest and couple of the medium output kits.

maxijets put off alot of heat and they area direct stream. the koralia pumps are just like the tunzes but are about the same as the maxijet with the mod. I think I will go with two or three of those and see what happens.

The maxxi jet mods aren't a direct stream after the mod is done.
