Guinea Fowl Puffer changing sex?

I have a Guinea Fowl Puffer that is about 6". In the last week I have noticed her fins turning gold and now her back is beginning to slightly turn gold. Can they change sex and become a Golden Puffer?

The guinea fowl coloring is just a phase of the golden puffers (arothron meleagris) from my research they change coloration when the get older but sometimes they dont complete the change.
