Shrinky-Dink
Can anyone see any reason that Shrinky-Dink plastic couldn't be used in the reef aquarium?
Shrinky-Dink comes in black now, and at one point in the process, you can "mold" or "shape" it - make it 3 dimensional. I'm thinking hanging brackets, and guards and enclosures... |

My only concern would be what chemical reaction happens when heated...Once cooled has the gases (if any at all) left the piece?

That was sort of my concern too. We bend PVC and acrylic with heat (and plenty of venhilation, lol), and it seems to be fine in the tank - you'd think that the released gases would be just that - released. Maybe a soak for a few days in salt water before using would be advisable?
Anyone else have thoughts?
