A couple new, yet to be named ORA corals I just picked up

I just scored these from my local LFS(Puppy Center in WH for you locals). He must be in ORA's good graces. For now one is called purple birds nest, the other blue stag I think. Both of these photos where taken minutes in the tank after spending all day in the bag, then going through my dip regement. I have high hopes for both pieces. As always my photos do nothing for the corals. The bird has real purple polyps! I am hoping Dustin can chime in with some history. From what I understand he picked up both in Germany at the same time he picked up the German blue polyp acro.

No I've got an ORA Tort, this is different. It's hard to tell from the pics but the colors are almost reversed.

I have second one and it was labeled as a Tort. Thats what the label from ORA said. My LFS ordered 5 of them. They were all label that.
either its a mistake or its a different tort.

Steve, I picked up the same birdnest from Dustin at MACNA. It's a killer piece. I'm not sure about the 2nd coral, but definitely doesn't look like ORA tort. It looks like this blue ORA coral that I got from Dustin also. Both pieces have not been released by ORA. Nice score!

Thanks Rob. Thats a great pic of the bird, thats more what it looks like. I actually just dug up the bag that the "tort" was in. It never made it out of the bag, so it was still in the original ORA bag. It was labeled GRA. Not sure where I got stag from, as its clearly not. But I can tell you its a not a chips or an ORA tort

Well LMK what it is as I have the same one. I bought it with a large ORA order. I got the
Scripps milli
GBBP
Green fuzzy
Marshall island
Dersa Clam
And that one. It wasn't something I ordered but rather a bonus. It was at the LFS...My credit card was burning so I bought. My LFS showed me the bag and it looks like the coral you had so...I would like to know what it is

The one on the right is 100% not Chips. This I think we all know, but I am gonna confirm it anyways. I thought it was a Tort too, but you are looking at in person so I defer.

Nice stuff reef daddy.

Who cares what it is? It isnt even released yet, instead of arguing about what it is we should start working on a name. I hope ORA doesnt disapprove. LOL Im going to be on the lookout for one at my areas frag swap Saturday.

I vote the birdsnest is named the RUBBAGAGOW Bird.

RUBBAGAGOW are you out there?

Dustin?
