Thinking about a FOWLR....

Hello everyone! I have always had reefs, but now I'm looking into a FOWLR. I'm looking at a 6x2x30" tank. In my reefs, I was very limited to my selection of fish due to them all being nippers to my clam mantles or corals. I don't want any limitations on my selection of fish, and I really want angels and tangs and such. I was thinking of a rock pile at each corner with a nice open center. Although I say FOWLR, if there are any inverts or corals I CAN keep, such as mushrooms, xenia things angels don't like to eat, I will buy those. Also, same goes for inverts, I love my inverts, however, I need to read about the fish I want to have to see if they will nip at inverts. I'm hoping for some guidance from you and by all means, please show me your pics of FOWLR!!!!!

Thanks!

Amanda

HEY stranger! I think you mean 6 feet? Knowing you, this tank will be awesome... are you still thinking tenecor?

I just got an amazing 26 gallon bowfront with seahorses from a friend - he brought it over yesterday and we spent the afternoon/evening fixing it up. It has loads of pom pom xenia (yes, I love that stuff) and lots of zoas . I'll have to send you some pics soon!

depends on the angel's personality.. i had a majestic angel eat mushrooms along with anything you could think of. On the other hand i had 12" queen angel, 6" emperor angel, 6" blue ring angel and a second majestic angel leave all my coral's alone..

Currently all my fish including tangs and clowns are eating xenia.

I have heard you can mix some angels depending on their species, could a person put a queen, emporer and majestic together?

Also, I would love to have an achilles tang and a clown tang, would they get along since their colors are so different, or are their bodies too similar?
