Truly a spectacular tank, how high are your T5's in the canopy area and how tall is your tank?

I will have to post a link in my T5 thread to this thread, it will inspire a lot. I had Tek-Light T5 on my 55g 4x39w for a 55 breeder tank that was 36x18x20 and they did a wonderful job, but nothing like what I am seeing with your tank. I moved to an AGA 90g 48x18x24 and was just not sure about doing the T5's above a 24" tank with clams down in the sand, I went MH instead, but your stuff is looking just wonderful. I think the 2nd page of my gallery has a picture of my old 55 with the T5 lighting above it.

I rarely hang out in this forum, but I'm so glad I stumbled across this thread.

Iwan, to say your tank is absolutely stunning is an understatement. It's beyond words. The colors you have are amazing.

You've just shattered many of my preconceptions about SPS dominated tanks. Thanks so much for sharing your tank with us.

Iwan

Great tank, especially with using only T'5. I do have a few questions for you. My current setup consist of metal halides and would like to switch to t'5 if you could recommend a system. My tank is 150 gallons , 5' x 2' x 2'.

8x54 Watt or 10x54 would be perfect for your reef. You'll reach the best results by covering the whole surface wirh T5's

Iwan,

i was looking into ATI powermodule and had a few questions about this setup. I was thniking the 8 x 80 watt would be a good choice. Did the powermodule come with any ballasts? From the looks of the website all it is is a reflector with built in cooling. What exactly came with the powermodule when you purchased it?
If you could supply some more info about this fixture it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Craig

Thanks !!! I am very happy that the progress doesn't stop.
Sometimes I think: "This is the maximum!"
But I still have reached a little more some weeks after that.

How many hours a day do you spend just staring at that beautiful tank Iwan? Do you get to relax and enjoy it?
I can only imagine how satisfying it is to reach this level of reef keeping.
I've studied every single SPS reef aquarium ever shown here on RC and I can honestly tell you that I've never seen a more beautiful reef. This is the pinnacle in my opinion.
If there were a category of 'Tank of the Century', yours would be it!
Thanks again for sharing.
