Actually i got my girlfriend an very expensive pair of shoes for christmas and she returned the favor, i sold her on it by the savings in shipping cost. the Deltec tank at that store is amazing really not sure of the dimensions but at least 10ftx3x4.

im not sure the neck on that rouge is really ready for 1000lph big homie.

lol, I got my wifey to get me the rest of the t5's i've been wanting, then sold my light and ordered a octo 200........This will be my final skimmer for my tank. And yea the rogue can barely take it, the foam head starts well below the neck.

octo 200 nice

for me the pump dilemma is what kept me from the rogue i cant deal with a big hot pump in my tank, i run a sumpless 50g tank with almost 600w of hqi and no chiller. i am forced to avoid anything that heats up the tank.

I hear ya man, don't we talk about this every other day......lol

Yea, the octo 200 still can't be beat for the price and size imo. Where else can you get a 8" diameter skimmer 24" tall you can mod to a recirc pulling 40scfh for under 200bux?

And if a 50w pump is heating up your tank......you need to get rid of all the fishbowl's you have and get a real tank!
