please, no new threads for a while

it's snowing like crazy. this was not in the forecast. now i hear we're supposed to get 6-8" of accumulation. i'm trying to get everything caught up so i can get outta here. the roads are gonna suck big time very shortly.

please refrain from starting any new threads because i don't have time to dilly dally in the lounge right now.

We're getting rain, about 40 here. Not typical Dec. weather.

That's a little backwards - it's 20 here!

this whole week has been great. bit of rain at night and mornings. sunny temps in the 70's during the day, light breezes and not a snowflake in sight!

I missed the snow while I was in Cali, I couldn't wait to get back to snow. Besides, I looked out of place when I was the only one running around in short sleeves and everybody else was bundled up in their heavy jackets and coats shivering .

Here you go! Now, go stick your head in the freezer and you'll remember what it's like!

This is the last place I expected to find a sensible person.

It was even more brutal because the day I left it suddenly decides to snow the whole week I'm gone!

We've got about 5" left from the 14" we got the other week- it's all frozen and crusty, which makes the dog awful skittish when it comes time to poop. She slips, slides, and wastes no time- not at all like summer, when she takes her sweet time, thanks very much, and could care less if you're getting chewed by 'skeeters waiting for her.

Of course, we could get a fence: but not now; the ground's frozen.

'Yup.

It's SO cold here today! It was 41 at lunch today. Snow at around 1500 ft. in the foothills, that's too close, I'm at about 58ft.
