O/T - Students, Great Deal on Microsoft Office

Off topic and I hope this isn't viewed as a commercial post somehow. Especially since it isn't even reef related.
I do not work for Microsoft.

It seems to me that we have quite a few students that frequent this website and I thought I would share this tid bit of info.

Microsoft is giving the deal of a lifetime on the entire suite of MS Office 2007 for students for only $59.95. You must prove you are a student.

Read about it here:

Funny, I just got a letter from my IT Dept, letting us know that MS is offering everyone that works in the company 50% discount in all their software, they must be hurting, I've never seen MS do anything like this, at least not in this proportion.

Wish I was a student again. That product retails for close to $700.

The reason is students download the software for free, they use corporate cd's that don't required activation. But the same thing is happening to apple based software. I hope they don't hurt too much because Bill Gates and his wife are the most generous people of any of the billionaires in the world.
