Loses most the green and goes almost all blue. It is a Cali tort.

I think you are thinking of the miyagi tort.
Never heard the oregon tort is not a tort. Looks like one to me IMO

All my photo's are shot under 14K DE 150's. Corals are 6" below the water line.

These corals have been photographed shortly after arrival from ORA. The ORA Blue tortuosa comes in with alot of green but after a it goes predominantly all Blue. The ORA Blue tortuosa is the Cali tort.
Here is an ORA Blue tort shortly after arrival from ORA.

Here is a shot of an ORA Blue Tort after acclimation to my display tank. This was taken a couple months after being put in the display system.

Here are two ORA Oregon Tort's Shortly after arrival from ORA. Very little green on them at all.

I am a retailer so I get all my ORA coral's from ORA. We had the Southwest Coral Farmer's Market this past weekend so I launched a couple new never released ORA corals at the event.

The 2 ORA Oregon Torts and the ORA Deepwaer Bali sold in the first 2 hrs of the show.

Hopefully ORA will be releasing these corals again soon.

Abraham: To my knowledge, they have only released the 2 Oregon Torts, and I got them both. I also know what they charge for the Oregon Tort and it is substantially more than $29.

Onehundred20: I am not sure if you are referring to the Roscoe's Blue Acropora or ORA Blue Tort (Cali Tort). ORA Blue tort grows fairly quickly. I blue them out under 250W MH 14K about 8 inches below the water. As with most ORA corals, they are long term captive grown and seem to handle a variety of conditions with alot of forgiveness. The Roscoe's is not a tort and is a fairly new release and I have not kept one for myself as of yet. I have sold 9 of the 10 I have received. I haven't decided if #10 is going into my display tank or just staying in the Propagation/sell tank.

DFS had a couple on the website back in Nov. I think they were getting $120.00. My local guy is sweet talking ORA in hopes of getting a couple!

I guess it is possible that they were the blue tort. What I am sure of is that they are from ora, and that they are torts. They look exactly like the picture of oregon's on page 3. I will go back and see if they still have them once my tank is feeling better (got a new goby that died and now all my fish are acting stangely, and my wrasse has something but i'm not sure what), and if they have them probably buy them and show pictures.

This thread got to me, too. I have a German Green with Blue and a Roscoe's Blue coming Monday from LA.

I've been waiting and waiting, and tonight they sent the Diver's Den update at 6:30p. I got on around 9ish and they posted both frags to the den. You have to be quick to get the goodies in the Diver's Den. LOL

I'll post some crappy pics when they arrive if anyone is interested. Hopefully they get the shipping right this time. Last order the water in the bags was in the 50's by the tiime it got to me.
