The tank looks nice, especially so small.

So far...
2) ceriths
2) hermits
2) Rics
3) shrooms
4) colony of zoas
2) colonies of button polyps
1) montipora digitata
1) Montipora Cap
1) 3 headed trumpet coral
And my tank center piece, A bright green Alveopora. < my fav .

I originally wanted a Clown goby, but I feel in a tank this small packed full of corals, i would not want to compromise the water quality. I'm thinking about maybe 1 peppermint shrimp but i dunno yet.

I lost one of the first Cerith snails I bought so it kinda bummed me out ( I know its just 1 snail but still bummed me out )

Water test came out -
PH - 8.3 - 8.4
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite - 0
Ammonia - 0

Soon as i get my calcium/alk test kits, I will start dosing some Kent marine 2 part that i had left over from the old tanks.

I know this post was kinda pointless but i couldn't help it . Tomorrow ill post the pics.

Shrimps poop too. Some shrimps will pick at corals if not well fed. I vote for a yellow clown goby.

I think these are RPE but im not sure. Either way 40$.

the center piece for the tank. I've had this Alveopora for about 1 1/2 days and its not "fully" opened up yet, hopefully by another day or two it will be.

FTS (no flash)

FTS (with flash)

If you look at the top left i also have a green trumpet. I forgot to upload the pics of it though . More to come...

I had a hermit missing for some time. While i was cleaning my tank i find this...

No shell!?

The other hermit was on top of he's shell so i decided to help the little guy and move he's shell closer to him. Sure enough he gets and and starts to make a break for it then the other hermit starts to chase him!. And this is the end result...

RIP mr hermit crab

The murderer moving into he's new home..

Nice tank, but its filling up fast

get a hand full of empty snail shells and put them behind your rock work, that way the hermits have shells to choose from, and not fight over.

Good Luck!

haha yeah its filling up quickly but it still has room to grow in. But i really don't buy a 3 gallon fish tank because of the real estate. Oh and come to find out both my hermits are still alive. I guess I fell for the ol molt trick.

This is a sweet tank. How much do you think you have spent? I may try something like this.

Sweet tank! I have a 3G Eclipse that I need to loose the stock light and filter from. How many watts is that light and can you adjust the legs independently? My tank isn't a true rectangle.

Because of the lighting I haven't added any corals yet, but do have a Red-headed Goby and a Sexy Shrimp. Both are pretty cool.

I don't think your hitch-hiker is a limpet. I think it is a Stomatella Snail.

Some updates....

Bubble coral.

Another SPS frag... Really wish my camera would show more color on my sps frags.

Pagoda cup.. Im hoping that the lighting is not to much for him but we will see.

FTS

So far the water params have been perfect..... Im getting Alot of coralline growth and some of my corals are growing in nicely.. I also got a skunk cleaner shrimp in there, but he's a little shy. Everything was added in about 1 1/2 ago so they dont look 100%. Thanks for visiting....

Your tank is looking nice. I like all the variety of colors. Mine seems to be dominated by one color.
