The purple bird has been named Hyacinth Birds Nest and the blue acro is called Roscoe's Blue Acropora- named after Dustin's dog.

FWIW...I got a rather large frag directly from that colony pictured in Twon8's picture. The guy said it was labelled "ORA misc" from the store he bought it from.

I have 3 different kinds of torts I have gotten from people, who all said they were ORA/Cali torts. They had all gotten their torts from other people, and one got it from ORA.

The coral i got in Twon8's picture, doesn't look like any of the torts I have, based on branching and coralite structure. The colors do look exactly the same as my ORA chips and my ORA tort though.

Its definitely a different coral than the chips and the tort. And a very cool one at that.

However, I have noticed that the lately the ORA torts that have been coming in do look alot more branchier than they did a year or two ago. Makes me wonder if the new ones are a different strain of tort, or if ORA has several different strains of tort but they are so similar they just name them all "ORA tort".

From what I understand, ORA's Tort is the Cali Tort.

ORA does have a couple other Tort's (atleast 1 that I know about) that they are working with. To my knowledge none have been offered to this date. I am sure ORA will offer it under a different name than ORA Tortuosa.

The Hyacinth and Roscoe's are sweet. ORA contines to improve their selection of corals with beauties.

Over the years I have built up quite alot of ORA coral pictures.

These have not been updated in a while but here are some links:

ORA Gallery 1

ORA Gallery 2

Hope it helps. I will build a more extensive gallery for ORA Corals soon. There's quite a few to add and alot of organizing I need to do
