How sad. I would have been EXTREMELY upset if any of my family had messed with my tanks. Or anyone had messed with my tanks, for that matter.

sorry to hear about that bro. My wife is the only one in my house besides the baby and she knows not to mess with any tanks. Like others have said atleast they are spawning regularly. I am still scooping my gripes fry because I can get it done in about 20 min so I never bothered to make the snagger. How long does it take with the snagger? I got a little system using the corner of the tank and surface tension. Just had another collection tonight. Actually will probally let some spawns go cause I have 70 or so at 7 days and atleast a 100 from this hatch. I think I am gonna get slammed.

Sweet ah, I wish I could have 100 babies going
We'll see on the next hatch. I usually leave everything going for two hours or so with the snagger.
What size tanks are you using for these guys?

Well I got screwed on this hatch and got stuck using a 2.5 because the 5 galon I bought last night had a crack which I did not notice till i got home. However always use a 5 or 10 gallon. I think 5 gallon is best for me because it allows for good density of food and not to much water issues. Ten would be okay but you would need ot keep them in a lot more water to have good heater coverage and fewer problems but then you would need to keep more rotifers in the tank and then that could be an issue. Based on the fact your spawns sound smaller I would say definetly 5 gallons good size when 1/2 to 3/4 full not to much of a problem with rotifer density and water quality. Sooner or later I am gonna hit you up for that roti sample when I get a fed ex account
