just tested KH and calcium
Just bought kits for the two, Nutrafin brand. Hard test to do the first time IMO. However I think my results were Calcium - 380ppm and KH was like 220ppm. test says that KH should be 105-125ppm, is this right?
if so what do i do to lower KH. Ammonia = 0 Nitrate = 0 Nitrite = 0 Temp = 79 Salicity 1.024 Thanks, Alvin

I believe that converts to about 12dkh or 4.29meq for you alk. Just a touch on the high side. Target 7-11dkh. I would stop dosing if you are and let it come down on it's own. I reallly prefer Salifert alk/calcium testkits over just about all of them. They work great.

If your dKH is really high and its undesireable yes water changes would be excellent
