awesome $20 bucks spent

well i went to the LFS about two weeks or so ago and saw a sweet Devils hand i *just* had to buy. the LFS cat picks it out of the tank and there is a couple snail shells attached to the LR the coral is on. i get home and take the snail shells off and realize i got two Zoo colonies, one purple w/ green mouths, one w/ Green dragon eyes and about 15 polyps each. growing from inside the shells where two kenya trees. a nice live flame scallop was hiding in there also. and what i tought was a polyp of sorts turned out to be a golden bubble tip anemone.

all of the critters have opened up nicely and seem to be thriving.

Wow, those snail shells must have either been huge or the inside of them must have been one of those bottomless pits. I'm not sure how they crammed all that life under the two snail shells.
