nice pics. the clam looks sweet. I found 16 of those crabs (or ones like it) in my last coral shipment. And they are buggers to get out of acro colonies!

Thanks Jonathan, do you think I should get the crab out?, I thought it was safe to leave it there

Hard to say Alfonso, but at the minimum you must keep a close eye on it, or rather the coral itself to see what condition it is in. Even though some crabs are symbiotic with corals, I have had the acro eating kind that literally slowly eat the coral tissue. You will see poor polyp extension, browning of the tissue, and tissue loss, usually starting near the center of the base.
I just can't tolerate any crabs hanging out in my corals at this point because I have lost colonies. The good side is that if you remove the crab early enough, the coral will recover. (at least that has been the case for me) There are plenty of pictures of acro eating crabs online, but if you find one like the one you posted and it has blue eyes, yank it immediately. I am not sure about the one you posted, but I pulled out all of mine and fed them to the aggressive tank at the LFS. If you are close to a marine research center, they usually welcome crabs for study so you can take them there instead of killing them.

Thank you Hop, me neither.
Jonathan I will keep an eye on it, as I thought it was safe it is still in the acro, In any case it's an easy critter to catch, just have to remove the coral. Thanks again

Actually the overflow is not inside the tank, it's a Calfo Style overflow with 3, 1 1/4" dursos, basically you can't see the dursos from the front because the glass inside the overflow is covered with coraline and once the main tank's back glass gets covered with coraline I guess I wont be able to see that either.
