How should I set up my water movement? + pics

Hi!
I'm planning on buying a wavemaker or pumps and getting rid of the powerheads so that I could get some good flow in my tank.
Currently I have 3 powerheads inside ..

Now, I was thinking of getting two Seio's M2600's which go for like 2600 GPH and placing one at the right side and the other at the left aiming one at the live rock going upwards and the other at the live rock aiming downwards.
Would that be any good or should I get like one Turbelle (since they are pretty expensive)?
The tank is 79G 4.1 foot long 23 inch tall and 19 inch deep with the live rock at the back of the aquarium.
Please help
Thanks!
Guy

So, be honest, you really knew the two Seio's M2600's would be enough right? You really just wanted an excuse to post pics of your awesome LR right

J/K. Nice rock though.

I had the same concerns, powerheads everywhere. I have decided to put in a closed loop system. Just waiting for the SCWD to get here. Then, hopefully, I will have 4 powerheads for sale.

Nice rockwork.

Thanks for the compliments!
Yeah, this is my first salt water aquarium and I'm really glad/suprised to see these posts.
Most of the LR are from a 2 year old reef that was taken apart (friends) and it's pod galore in there!!
Can't wait to get my mandarin although I've heard that it requires a tank of at least 6 months old and mine is only 3
Will start adding corals soon
Anyways!
Two tunze nano pumps sound good but where would you place them? top left and top right aiming at the rocks?
Thanks again!
Guy

By the way, do you think that 2 tunze nanostreams 6025(660gph) would be enough? It says they are for 11-53gal aquariums.

i would think if you had them on an alternating cycle you would want one more, imo. 660gph isnt even 10x turnover, keep in mind what corals you want when it comes to where you want to place the flow as well..

Ok, so should I go two 2600 GPH Seio pumps on the left and right side?
Two 2600gph Seio pumps and two tunze nanostream 6025 pumps will end out the same price.
The differences are that Tunze have a magnetic holder which is much better than those sticky holders. Also I've heard better customer reviews on Tunze pumps rather than Seio. But we are talking about 2600gph (Seio) and 660 gph(Tunze).

What do you think?
Thanks

i like my seio m620 in my 37gal, i have it and a mj1200, the seio stays on, and the mj1200 turns on and off every few minutes...

if you dont mind having it clipped at the top of the tank, i recommend that, or if you are good at DIY someone did a good write up here:

http://www.cawanee.com/magnetmounts/MagnetMounts.htm

i cant vouch that seios are better then tunze though....

Thanks!
How can I get an alternating cycle though?
Like, how can I have the pump go on and off every few minutes?
Wouldn't that ruin the pump? Random currents are always better though too right?
Thanks again

New thing came up!
I see that Hydor has released a new pump called Koralia.
They are fairly inexpensive and do a flow rate of 1200gph (model 4).
I think I will be getting two of them
Thanks for the help!
Guy
