Hey Joao:
How is the scribbled faring? I just recently put mine in the display. He ate all the incidental sponge that was growing, and has worked a couple of zoanthids, but otherwise, so far, so good. And eats like a pig! From hand, too! The only clam he has "bothered" was my big squamosa that has some sponges growing on he shell, but has done much at all. I'll get you a pic when I can. |

Hi,
Mine is also doing fine. So far no trouble with any coral and eats perfectly and every food I put in the tank! |

Beautiful angel! My Singapore (same genus as Scribbled) has never nipped at anything. But he wil steal food from Euphyllia. Would love to have a Scribbled like you, but my tank's only 100g anyway.
How are your Apogons doing? I have 4 who only school when something's going on the tank - otherwise they divide off into 2 pairs. I've wondered if adding a few more would somehow convince them to school.

Hi Marie,
The Apogons hang around the large piece of rock in the right side of the tank (you may see it in a full tank picture). They don´t move a lot but stay together (the 8). When the move round the tank - I have an automatic feeder in the left side that feeds pellets 2x day-, they do it as a school |

I think my (chicken) Apogons are always a bit threatened by the lyretail anthias. They just move to fast....specially at feeding time. Maybe that´s why they stay close to each other and move - only when absolutely needed !- together. |

Beautiful boy, J. !
How big is he ? 6-7" ? The pattern (right spelling ? ) of mine is totaly different: looks more like a maze and its a bit darker (greyish). But as I told you before, I´m, still not sure if it is still the juv. pattern (he/she is only 4") or if I have a female. |

I actually bought him because he was smaller than all the other males I had seen. He is no bigger than 6 inches, which I thought was unheard of, but there he is. Heres another pic.

Hi. Updating the topic
Starting with some info of the past... months - I had a loss of power of about 9hrs. When I noticed it the temp was around 20ş C (68şF ?). I was concerned about it as you may imagine, but, at the end of the day, no major problemas occurred. Only a pocillopora that was partially "dry" for to many hours lost the tissue in some tips. But it´s recovering well; - I started to have some algae (Derbesia, mainly) and some Cyano with no apparent reason. After rechecking the equipment, I remebered that the cartridges (right word ?) of the RO were...way too old... I got a tds meter and the result was a bit scaring...89 ppm!!! So.. I´ve been feeding algar for a few months, problably (stupid...). I changed everything and with the weekly water changes, things are coming back to normal; - Meanwhile, I´m increasing a bit the circulation. Added a Tunze nanostream 6025 below/under the rockwork and will be adding another nanostream (still deciding if the price differente between the 6045 and the 6055 compensates) Here´s a pic of the first nanostream already in place ![]() I cut the back panel to accomodate it ![]() - I´ve also changed the location of some corals that were getting to close and removed others (mainly softies). I also removed some LR to the fuge to create more room for (now bigger) corals and fish So... enough chat and lets look at the pics Full tank ![]() left to right ![]() ![]() ![]() |
