Electric outboard motor and flow
Just curios, has anyone played around with something like this
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SEVYLOR-ELECT...ayphotohosting Just had a crazy idea, if one was to build a tank and leave a false wall to hide two of these and have one work in one direction for a few houres, then switch to the other (oposit direction) creating tide in tide out.

We had a huge thread about that (and other ideas) someplace. I think the noise and wetted metal parts were part of the drawbacks of such a design.

Actually, there are some Ideas that are in the planning stages. They will be used on some of the "larger" systems that have been talked about here on RC, and later moved.
