Angry Coralife PC fixture

I have to say, I am rather disapointed in the quality of the coralife lighting fixture that i have. I had two fixtures one JBJ and one Coralife and recently decided to sell the JBJ as the customer support i had recieved with ESU(Coralife) was good (it was also newer).

Now, two months after-I am wishing I would have done it the other way around. A year and a half old unit, has a ballast that is shot, the electrical wiring is cracking all over the place and the end caps are falling apart. I have now ben trying to contact the maufacturer to get replacement parts and now discover that ESU has been bought out by another. To say the least, it appears as though the customer support has now gone down the "toilet".

Just a fair warning to some that are looking to get a new fixture. Coralife does not use UVL listed wiring and aparently that does make a difference not to mention the warning about the CS.

I have been running a Coralife 65x2 PC for almost 2 years and it has been perfect. I wonder if they are making a cheaper build now?

Talk to a LFS that you are friends with. Mine hooked me up through his supplier from coralife. They are truly concerned with customer service. It's just that sometimes you need to talk to an actual person.

Ever been 158mph on a bike with your wife riding with you? You could tear off the dented pieces of skin with her fingerprints on them.

It's not a bike if it's not over a liter

the unit i have is a 65x4. could be caused because of higher heat output

was that before or after ESU was bought out??
