All wonderful - the King of Acros, IMVHO! I have several torts, but I gotta tell ya, this OR is freakin nice. I had the Serdar Sapphire and I liked it almost as much. But the OR is freakin nice. I might resked our ski trip to Mt Bachelor just so I can visit Upscales (and rob Steveweast's tank ).

I have a frag from Upscales, too. It is very deep blue, with no hint of green like the Cali or ORA. It is a VERY slow grower, all mine has done is about 3-4 months is encrust about 3/4" all the way around. Just starting to develop a couple small new "nubs".

thats my experience too, solid, very blue throughouyt the piece on the oregon tort. My cali tort is a very deep, midnight blue while my ORA tort is almost in the same league as my oregon blue tort as far as blueness. This is just under my 10k reeflux. Don't think I'll ever use any other bulb just due to the colors. Simply amazing..

I run a 15K Iwasaki(very white) and the Oregon still has that solid blue, where as a cali shows the green near the base. I would defintely try the Reeflux bulbs as well, but, I run 175's and I think the PAR wouldn't be close to my Iwasaki's. Anyonw running 175 Reeflux's???

here is an older pic of my ora tort, it is blue, but certainly different from the oregon.
