2 Part question..

How much can be made in a batch...
I have a 125 gallon tank and wanted to know how long a supply can be made for? Example 5 gallons at a time. also how much attention does it need. ex. does it need to be shakin or mixed once a week. and what temp can it be stored at? In know bionic does not like it below 70 degree.

It can be made in any size you want, and is good forever. If a little settles out, ignore it. If it gets cold, the alkalinity part may precipitate, just as B-ionic and other two parts do, and it will redissolve on warming.

Thanks Randy...
So there is no need for weekly shakin?
Also would you say the two part is Better/Same/inferior than a Calcium reactor?

No, no need to shake.

The two part is less expensive for initial costs, but otherwise not appreciably different than a reactor in terms of the suitability to a tank. The reactor is usually automated, and a two part can be with a dosing pump, but need not be.

OK very good
So if the option are
3 part aquamedic doser With diy Calcium, ALk, Mag
or
a Korllin Calcium reactor

Which would you choose

Actually, I choose to use limewater with my auto top off system.

If I could not use it, I'm not sure which other method I'd pick.

I was thinking the same thing Limewater first then everything else second. I have my top off hooked right to my reactor and now I'm thinking about adding one of the two, the Calc reactor or Two Part.
Why do you want lime water first? I know from what I have read Kalk is the better of the two (slurry (sp) or reactor) but I would like to hear your thoughts.
Thanks

Since I am often away for 2 or even 3 weeks with the tank unattended, I want the evaporation replacement totally automated. Once that is done, all limewater requires is adding it to the top off when making a batch. So it is very easy compared to arranging anything else.

It is also cheap, pure, keeps pH on the high side, and may possibly have other benefits (like precipitating phosphate).
