Aquamedic / ecotech Nilsen reactor

Anyone using them, want to buy one but can't find any info/feedback. How well do they work?

Also, I've seen basically two types, one with a stirrer and one that uses a power head to agitate the kalk. Are there certain benefits to one or the other.

I have been using the Ecotech for a year now and am very satisfied with its performance. A well built unit utilizing qaulity components and a superior design compared to the powerhead recirculation units. All in all, I am quite pleased with pretty much everything about this unit and would recommend the Ecotech limewater reactor to anyone.

Also, try Andy at My Reef Creations if you want to save some money and still get a quality unit. JMO.

Donut, don't wait your time with the Aquamedic, I had one running on my tank for about 4 month before the pump went south.
