Talking Picture! Lots of pictures!!!

Its been a while since I've posted anything... seems like I've been away from the forums for a long time. I guess its been hecktic lately for me. Between getting a new laptop because my old one died, then having to bring it back because I hated it and now have a Sony Vaio. Then my birthday came up... I got a NEW CAMERA!!! And best of all my great girlfriend got me it! I'm happy. lol

Remember I'm just getting use to using it now. Haven't really learned anything in the manual mode, but will soon.

umm ive always heard it to be down pat too.. i think its more of a regional thing, for example water fountian (which you drink from) is called a bubbler up north and people look at you funny when you say it in the good ole south.

Nice closeups.

What camera is it? Can you give us more info on it?

What did you use to get the black and white effects?

Thanks.

The camera I am using is a Canon SD900. I think its the top slim/point and shoot camera Canon has put out to date. I've done nothing special with editing the photos as far as watermark and border via photoshop.

As for the black and white effects, I used the camera's features called "color accent"/"color swap" to acheive the different effects. I wish I had a camera that could take better macro pictures, but this is great for what I am using it for right now. Maybe next year or so I'll end up getting a bigger and better camera.

Thanks for looking guys/gals.
