Frank Esser Aquarium is a freaking inspiration for T5 users. And no skimmer to boot. 216 watts over 80g and SPS all over the place.

Bugger....get your facts striaight before you post. The last post I read of yours you were telling some guy to put 6 250watt MH on a 90 gallon.

That's my bonsi (Don't know if it's a Garf or not I got it at a frag swap a couple months ago) I'm going to be raising my lights a couple of inches to see if I can get some richer colors out of the corals including some darker purple on the base of this one)

Lights are SLS retros from reefgeek.com. I've got 5x24W over the main tank with the six bulb over my HOB fuge. Lights are all Giesemann bulbs and are in the following order:
Front
Actinic Plus : 12am-10pm
11000K Aquablue Plus: 3pm-8pm
Actinic Plus : 1pm-6pm
11000K Aquablue Plus: 3pm-8pm
Actinic Plus : 12am-10pm
Back

It's is a darker purple in real life, but deffinantly like it sould be. It's way high up in the tank though...wich is one of the reasons I've been thinking of raising the lights up a couple of inches....maybe every make an arch out of the lights.

Thanks...

It's in a 30g display, standard size. I have a glass top and a 24" Tek T5 with 4 bulbs sitting right on the glass. I have (2) 11K AquaBlue Plus, (1) Actinic Plus and (1) Pure Actinic. Each Giesemann and 24W. The superman sits a little lower than midway down the tank and dead center. I'd give it about 10-11" from the light.

Here is my photo period:

8:30am - Pure Actinic & Actinic Plus come on
9:00am - 11Ks come on
10:00pm - 11Ks go off
10:30pm - Pure Actinic & Actinic Plus go off

I got it about three months ago and it was about the size of a nickel. It's probably tripled in size since then. Grows like a weed.

Scott
