Thanks. You are my first call for a frag pack when the tank is ready. I can't believe I posted a picture of my new tank following your picture. I've told you before, I strive for this tank to turn out half as nice as yours. Great job!

kmagyar, Cam Barr beat me to it. IMO, your tank may fall into that ... 'if it ain't broke' category.

Ditto... I wouldn't touch it. Looks great the way it is. Personally I don't like the bare bottom look.

It was broke. I saw the signs. I got tired of my weekly det blow outs and my frequent water changes. IMO growth was stunted too. There was just too much stuff in my substrate. Time will tell if I have to eat my words. Bare bottom does bother me a bit. But I am confident that I will approve of my results. I will be posting new pics soon in the sps forum.

Kmagyar.... Dude dont touch that tank..... Awesome.. I am setting up a 170 gallon. 60x25x26D closed loop prolly 3 inches of sand and do a low flo sump set up.... looks like you only have 2 inches of sand anyway.???? when mine is up and running ill call you for some frags...

good luck if you do some changing....

Its already done. And I am glad I did it. I have not seen such good polyp extention since my 50 gallon years ago! I have been contemplating the starboard bottom idea for a while. I did it. It took me over a month, but I have done it. I just took some pics. I have to shrink and upload them to my server tonight.
