Kent Marine salt update

I have tested the new Kent salt batches--all tests were performed using Salifert (and seatest as a not-so accurate reference).

Calcium--450-490ppm
Alkalinity--2.5 meq/L -2.7 meq/L
Magnesium--1250ppm--pretty consistent

Seems to be pretty good so far.

Good for Kent! I'm glad to hear that they saw a problem and corrected it as quickly as they could. Thanks for posting your test results.

Just remembered something--the new batches will have numbers printed on the lids of the buckets.

Yeah they are making at the Oceanic salt facility now. The new salt has a new lid (like the oceanic lid) and also doesn't have the bag in the bucket.
