Lighting question

Everyy time I read something, there are about 10 differnt opinions on lighting - I currently have a 105G tank with 4X65 PC lgihtts - 2 atinic and 2 day ones. Is that a good start for a reef tank that will carry generally softies? thanks!

I would say you are good to go on most softies.
Just check out info on each coral you want to put in there and only go with low light ones. You are around 2w/g not alot but enough to support some corals.

If you want to make use of every watt you gott, build a high rock reef and put higher light demanding corals near the top, closer to the light.

How deep is that tank? the deeper you go the less light penetrates, you may not get enough light near the bottom.

Those lights are not going to penetrate very deep. Some softies would do well higher in the tank, but you probably won't see much growth near the bottom.
