I have it, and it works great for me. 228 TDS going in and 0 TDS coming out. I'm not sure why people don't talk about them much.

It is a fine unit. Do you know you have high silica in your water?

Also you could look at this one for 150.00 saving you some money. A great unit with quality filters, and more features.

I own this one as well and I'm very happy with it. I actaully started out with the 35gpd unit. I wanted more output so I simply changed the flow restrictor and membrane to 60. I'm sure you can find something cheaper. But IMO the Maxxima is a good unit.

I have the 35gpd Hi-S Maxxima and have no complaints whatsoever.
