Feather star lost a bunch of legs today

Hi picked up a feather star that was not doing to well about a month ago and it was growing back the tips of it legs and doing this morning I noticed it had lost a bunch of them and tonight all the longer legs are gone now. Any one have experience with them. I did a 65 gallon water change last night. My PH has been getting high for some reason. I can't seam to keep it in check which is supposed to be a sign alk is low but mine is high. I am guessing the PH is the problem, but It just keep getting higher even with my calcium reactor running.

I doubt that it has anything to do with your parameters...
More likely it's dying due to starvation.
Feather star requires special food that are not available to regular reefers.
