Angry Most ridiculous thing your anemone ate?

I got a tiny baby Long Spined Urchin about 1.5" across from a great LFS two days ago. Yesterday I found its spines being spit out by my Purple LTA.

I mean, how does the anemone even get the Urchin?!?!

My coral banded shrimp dissapeared a few days ago and I suspect my BTA ate him.

I saw a vicious one at an LFS,
they would feed dead koi out of the coldwater section

the fish would disappear after 15-20 seconds

1 blue tang, 1 yellow tang, 6 peppermint shrimp (even though she gets silversides every other day).

The craziest thing one of our anemones ate was the closed loop intake strainer, what a mess!

My carpet anemone closed on a short spine urchin. it's spine punctured it in different areas and it couldn't swallow it, still it took it 12 hours to open to realease him although I tried lots of things which didn't work to have it release him.
Luckily both made it.
Will try to post pics if I find them.

I have two Condies in my tank and saw my largest eat a mexican turbo snail. Shell and all. LOL! That was a weird thing to see.

I also had a Sebae Anemone and a pair of Sebae Clowns. The clowns hosted in the Condies. I don't think they liked the Sebae Anemone because I watched the two clowns attack the Sebae Anemone and shred it to nothing.

MICHEALDALY: What is a BTA? Do you have any pics?

Found them

As I said both of them made it with no ill effects on the second day. YEt that wasn't the case of the fancy meals my anemones had:
2 Hyppo tangs
1 Yellow tang
1 Kole tang

Here's one, when I bought my sebae a clarki in the tank ran into him and went inside it's mouth.
Me and the LFS employee just looked and were like, kamikazi clown just went in.
Oh well, he's gone.
He was inside the nems mouth the whole way home and during acclimation the nem finally released it.
The clown was really jacked up and I thought he was going to die for sure, but he survived.
Free clown!
I went back and got the other clarki that was in the tank and they became a pair and took good care of their nem.

I give tours to visiting visiting primary to high school classes and keep one or two Giant Anemones in a touch tank to show the students what a coral polyp kinda looks like and how they eat. The lab compound is also over run by terrestrial hermit crabs which the students love to catch. One of the students asked what the anemone eats. I replied that it ate pretty much anything fish/inverts likes snails and crabs. Next day the anemone spat out the remains of a hermit that had one inch long claws. That must have been a bit of a fight for the anemone. So that was my wierdest. Well, apart from the eraser it also spat up.

My GBTA tried to munch the plastic lettuce clip I use to feed Nori to my tang. The Lawnmower blenny knocked it off the glass onto the GBTA and by the time I found it, the anemone was chowing down.... needless to say, it didn't get very far.

Here's something that's a little out of the eating spectrum, but I had a GBTA that didn't like the light and he crawled behind the rocks to never be seen again. Tore tank apart and can't find him. Never had a smell to the tank either.

Before he went away he crawled over to my Hawiian Feather Duster and ate the thing.

How big is your BTA? Seems weird a Coral Beauty would get caught in a BTA.

I have always wanted a carpet, but I think I have changed my mind. They seem to be an expensive eater. LOL.
