Jellyfish id!
I was looking at my tank and spotted some erratic motion.
This turned out to be a jellyfish. 5 millimiters, round shape, 4 tentacles only, transparent, with something moving under the "cap". What is this? p.s. I took some pictures but don't expect anything good ;-(

Sounds like it could be a moon jelly, but man there are a million possibilites. You gotta post a pic for a better ID. Check my gallery for some shots of moon jellies.

No. It's not a moon jelly. The one I have is 5mm and has 4 legs. No skirt, but swims like a jelly.

Well, there aren't any jellies with legs. I assume you mean oral arms? By skirt do you mean a bell? All jellies start out much smaller than the 5mm range when they are call ephyrae and some will go through several visual changes throughout their life. Does it have 4 gastric pouches that look like rings in the center. Does it have any color at all? Give me a pic and I'm sure I can ID it.

Does it look similar to this, or any of the jellyfish images in my gallery?
