Stuff for sale

Hey fellow LIRA members,

I am stepping out of the hobby for a while due to an unfortunate life situation that some of you are probably familiar with.... "Divorce". I am in no way throwing in the towel on the hobby... I just have to recalibrate until I am comfortably in my next house, which will hopefully be within the next 6 - 8 months. So, I have a few things that some of you may be intersted in for sale.

1) 48 inch Black Maristar fixture by Sunlight Supply. The fixture is in excellent condition and comes with 2 BLV HQI lamps(3mos) and 2 Antic 03 T5s (6 mos). I also have a set of Phoenix 14ks that I will throw in that are also 3mos old. The fixture comes a with a bluewave 7 dual MH HQI ballast. The T5 ballast is built in.

I achieved some really awesome colors after switching to this fixture due to the ROIII reflectors and the only reason I am selling is because my next setup will be larger and require a larger lighting system.

I am asking 650.00 for local pickup in the Brooklyn/Queens/Long Island Area. I paid around 1050.00 brand new. Please PM me if interested.

Here is the last picture that I took under this fixture with the BLVs running to give you an idea.

Another shot a few months before where you can get a glimpse of the hood and the difference in coral color from the first shot.

2) 120 Gallon Custom made tank W/ custom top-rim and stand (48in tall &Cherry) w/ 30 Gallon sump. asking 300.00(total) w/ bulk heads & durso.

Jonathan,

Sorry to hear about your situation.

Question on the equipment:
The stand is 48" high? Total height of tank and stand is 72"?

Thanks,
Warren

Hey Everyone,

Thanks so much for your kind sentiments. It's truly the people that make LIRA such a great organization.. As soon as I get settled with another home, I WILL BE BACK .

Warren and Chris,

The tank is still available and it is 48 X 24 X 24. 72 inches seems just about right.

Yes, the stand is 48 inches tall.

Mike,

Some of my livestock went into John Xikis' tank out in Glen Cove. His setup turned out incredible.. I am going to talk to him about having some of the guys who helped lift the tank back over to come check it out. It's pretty amazing.

Jonathan,

The stand is too tall for my basement purposes.

Good luck with the sale and the new home.

your tank

Jonathan,

I think I will have to pass also as I would need a step latter to work on it. Its a nice idea as it would put everything at eye level, however ease of maintenance is everything in my book.

Good luck

Chris

Chris and Warren... Thanks for your interest guys. The tank is tall, but it was great for viewing and getting tall equipment like my Deltec skimmer under the cabinet. I'm 6' 4 1/2" and I had to use a step ladder at times

Romain,

First off, my apologies for the late response.. I've been swamped with my move over the past 2 weeks and have had very lttle time to get on RC. I have the tank and stand in my budies garage right now. If I can get over there in the next evening or so, I will take a picture for you and post it.

Arron,

The sump is 30 gallons. I don't know the exact measurements, but it is just shy of 18 inches tall.
