New to the WRS

I am 18 years old and have a 20gallon tank. I have a couple of rics and zoos, a lot of anthelia, colt, small bubble coral.
I am looking for possibly a frag of a torch or frogspawn coral and some more zoas and rics.
I am also excited as I will be getting a Sebae anemone in the short furture, wish me luck.

How much lighting do you have for the sabae?

I would really like to get one, but I am told that 130W is not enough light.....

I posted this in the Anemone and Clownfish Thread and i got a pretty good consensus that it would be able to work.

a 20 gal with 130w of pc lights is very different than a 37 with 130w of pc lights
I'm not going to say anything about if the anemone will survive or not thefishguy3,
I'm going to say take your time before getting the anemone
these animals don't like changes in water conditions
until the tank is about 1 year old, the aquarium won't be able to provide stability needed

And if your plans are to transfer it to a bigger tank after 1 year
you may want to just get the big tank now, and avoid the questions
1. Is this enough light?
2. Can I keep it in a 37 long term?
3. Do I need to move it in 1 year when I set up the bigger tank?

No, no, it wasn't you at all, its on a different forum all together...

I will not be taking the 37 gallon down, I will be leaving it up in the office and the 150 gallon will be in the living room area.

So, most of the stuff from the 37 (that will fit) will go over to the 150 gallon and the 37 gallon will have minimal life just to keep it active for use as a quarantine tank and if need be hospital tank..

Not to hijack the thread, lol, but is 130W enough light for a sabae?

Probably not in a 37g without supplemental feeding
