Anyone seen something like this before? Nodules are present.
Yes, a local guy that sells corals out of his garage has a piece exactly like that. Probably a Walt Smith aquaculture that will be coming in regularly. The polyps are neat as they are neon green and really stand out from the rest of the coral.

I know this is a rather old thread, but, is the one that Atlantis Aquarium sells the real deal?

They have a picture on page two of the frags:

Funny...their claim is exactly this...if even Tyree says it all died off, why is this guy claiming to have it...I'm sure Tyree has gone to visit his store to see if it's really it, seeing that it's still on his "Most Wanted List" on his site

True Leng Sy

There are some 'real' ones out there. If you can at least trace it back to Paletta, you've got the original. At least, that's what Mr. Sy told me

That's the key, really. You gotta spend a bit initially, so that you have something worth trading for. Than it just snowballs from there.

It helps to network in reef clubs and boards.

Mine originated from M. Paletta's tank.

I have about a 1.5 " frag growing on a reef plug that looks just like Naka's that I will sell.

Not sure if shipping 1 frag is worth while to you.

I have one from Atlantis which they got it over 2 years ago from Paletta's and this frag is only 4 months old and it already has developed large nodules.

Looks sweet,

It is still small but growing nicely and starting to get purple edges.

What I don't understand here as for this thread dating back to 2003.When ROAB put this post out there for this Cap.We see all these photo's of the cap now.But with all of this Steve Tyree is still looking for it?I would think he would have came on this thread,to say here it is?But nothing still after all this time. And even his site doesn't say he has it either. But I would think after all this time, that Tyree would say he finally found it.But still no word for sure ? People are calling it the same cap,but can we really be sure, after all this time?Tyree has gotten different frags from all these reefers that looks like it?But still it seems no sure thing. It seems a lot say they have it because of that purple rim it takes on.I hope some of those out there does have it?But it seems that Tyree is still looking for it?

Naka has posted about these ATI blue plus bulbs.I have them also, and they are killer bulbs when it comes to color. If you want color for your corals, hands down the best bulb to date. These bulbs will totally change a corals color !
