NE of Dallas, Everything for sale

Located in Rowlett, which is between Garland, Mesquite, & Rockwall, just to the NE of Dallas.

I've been in the hobby four or five years, and haven't really added anything in the last two years. The arrival of my third child forces the sale of everything - don't have the time or finances to keep up anymore.

RUNNING TANKS

150 gal Oceanic with 200-300lbs of live rock. Handful of fish including, but not limited to: Foxface, Yellow Tang, pair of PJ Cardinals, Firefish, small Lawnmower Blenny. Starfish, cukes, critters, spiny urchin, etc. There is a large leather on a large rock, some different mushroom rocks, large gorgonian, a bunch of live sand (I don't recall how much, looks like 100lbs or so). Lighting is a IceCap 660 with three 60" VHO bulbs and I also have an IceCap 175 MH, hardly used. Red Sea Berlin H/O Skimmer. Wavemaker. Three or four Maxi Jet water pumps.

58 gal Oceanic with live rock and live sand. Pair of percula clowns, pair of rocket gobys, pair of bangaii cardinals, fire shrimp. Large toadstool leather, green open brain, colt coral, bunch of different mushrooms, lots of yellow polyps, sun coral, more. Oceanic 110w Power compact lighting. Aqua C Remora Pro h/o with surface skimmer. Three maxi jet pumps.

I also have another saltwater tank running, I don't recall if it is a 29 or 30 gallon long that we keep in the kitchen. It has some live rock and live stock, not much to talk about.

I also have two 58 gal Oceanic tanks in the garage, amongst other smaller tanks. I have lots of Kent Marine additives. Test kits, miscellaneous equipment, etc. An Aqua 15w UV sterilizer that's hardly used. I could go on and on.

My favorite scenario is local reefers to come make fair offers. I'm very reasonable, fair, and inclined to sell, but I'm not giving it away either. If you want something shipped, you'd have to first mail me all the shipping supplies as I have next to nothing.

If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'll do my best to answer.

YGM. I forgot that I would be interested in some mushrooms and a frogspawn if you have that as well.

Well I certainly have a nice assortment of different types and colors of mushrooms. I don't have any frogspawn though.

I was wondering what kinda of snails that you have? I need something to clean/stir up my sand bed. I was thinking 5-10 different snails.

I have mostly Astrea snails, but I know I've added a variety over the years of the stuff you get from Indo Pacific Sea Farms.

Sorry if I'm losing track of anyone, but so many people have written, called, and posted (some have written & posted!) that I'm a little shaken.

So far the best responses have been the locals who have telephoned to make an appointment to come to my house.

If you're close enough to come look, don't hesitate to call my cell phone at 214-244-2695.

That'll be fine. Give me a call when you're leaving or on your way.

If anyone else planned on coming out this weekend, my plans have changed slightly. I will only be available until late Saturday afternoon. Any questions, just call or write.

Hehehehe...first come, first served! Just wanted you to know if you interested in rock, give paul a call...has plenty. Picked up 2 bigger pieces for mine. Unfortunatley the killer leather's attached to a big rock that was just a little too much for me...He also has a killer toodstool that's on a nice one too. Some rock is completly pollyped covered..nice shrooms too. Has a real cool looking pink cuke...but it scarred me, i admit..I got the turd instead!!! Paul, hes doing great...already leaving me pellets...Oh, Paul also made 2 ipsf orders so...I got some cool hichikers on my rock as well!! He's got a lot of additives left too among other equip. I didn't pick up..lol....
Paul, me know and we'll meet for the bangi (only catch one), emerald (think he still has 2 left) and snails...oh, and ill check on that other.

Thanks for the DEALS!!!!

The Puffer

There is unrest in the reef, There is trouble with the corals, for the lps want more sunlight And the sps ignore their pleas....The trouble with the LPS,(And they're quite convinced they're right) They say the SPS are just too lofty And they grab up all the light. But the SPS can't help their feelings If they like the way they're made. And they wonder why the LPS Can't be happy in their shade..So the LPS formed a union And demanded equal rights. "The SPS are just too greedy; We will make them give us light." Now there's no more SPS oppression, For they passed a noble law, And the Corals are all kept equal By Reefer.. frag.. and saw.

I just snagged about 40 pounds of rock. All look very nice. I also got a couple shrooms and some yellow polyps. Everything looked very nice. If you are needing anything give Paul a call. He didnt refuse any of my offers! All were fair of coarse!

Look forward to trading with you again Paul.

Update on: Everything for sale

My apologies for anyone who tried to come out last weekend, but I had to leave town suddenly. My mom is dying in the hospital and I had to fly up one more time. As such, I may have to leave suddenly again for a funeral.

Here is a list of what I have left, more or less. I should be home Thursday and Friday night, Saturday after 2pm until evening and all day Sunday. Again - unless I have to leave town. Anyone with a firm appointment and who has provided a telephone number will likely receive a courtesy call if this situation does arise.

In the 58 gallon tank:
all the live sand
large Caribbean rock covered in yellow polyps
large Fiji rock with large toadstool
several different rocks with various mushrooms
my origial button & yellow polyp rock that started it all
more rock with purple coralline algae
small colt coral
fire shrimp
pair of rocket gobies
whatever is growing in the two small in-tank refugiums I made
-2- 600 and -1- 900 Maxijet pumps covered in purple
Remora Pro skimmer with surface skimmer attachment and I believe it has the Rio1400 pump. The collection cup has two belimishes on one side at the very top. One one corner a small triangle about 1/4" is chipped off and on the other is cracked the same size. Doesn't affect the performance and I just put that side facing the wall. I will photograph it and post the photo so you can see how small it is.
Home made canopy, rather well built with marine quality supplies (stainless steel hinges, etc.) and never used. Holes already drilled to accomodate the ice cap fans mentioned later.

In the 150 gallon tank :
All the live sand
large rock with leather coral
nice sized rock with a bunch of mushrooms
smaller rocks with mushrooms
more live rock
friendly yellow tang
yellow foxface
pair of pj cardinals
Red Sea Berlin h/o skimmer with Rio 2500 (I think)
handful of used Rio 2100's
did I mention Live Rock?
tank, stand, canopy

I'm not planning on selling any of the lighting right now, or the wavemaster pro, as they're easily stored and will be used when I start my new tank when I return from Europe (unless I get a really good offer!)

Various Kent additives
Various test kits (Red Sea Marine Lab, Red Sea Calcium, Red Sea Phosphate)
135/150 canopy (2) - these are the hinged lids
Aqua Ultraviolet 15w UV Sterilizer 3/4" (plumbed to be a hang on) - only used a few hours (definitely under 5 hours).
-2- more 58 gallon tanks in the garage and what looks like a 20 tall?
20 gallon long (almost new)
probably a couple of 10 gallon tanks around
Rotator for Rio pumps
various other stuff like heaters, nets, etc. etc.
4 Ice Cap smart fans, never used. two are completely unopened, two are opened because I was going to put them in the canopy for the 58. I"ve misplaced the other box, but can likely find it.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for their patience and understanding during my hectic schedule. My mother did pass away on June 21st and I've been to the funeral in NY and I'm now back at home in Texas. No travel plans for the immediate future.

The list above is almost perfectly accurate.

A lovely couple today purchased all the remaining live rock from the 150 gallon tank.

All that remains is:
the pair of PJ Cardinals:
an urchin:
some critters like hermits, starfish, etc.;
and all the live sand. I think there is probably about 100 pounds or so in there.

After all living things are sold, the pumps, skimmer, tank, stand & canopy will be ready for sale.

The 58 gallon tanks is still available with all it's inhabitants (see above) as are all the extra drygoods, equipment, etc.
