Do you have a pic?
Are the eyes cloudy? Is the fish eating? What is the breathing rate? How long have you had the fish? When was the last fish added to the tank? Did you quarentine the fish? Any losses/deaths as of late? Two things come to mind... 1. Parasitic Copepods 2. Brook

How long did you QT the new fish?
Where are "the strings hanging" - body, fins, mouth ? How long have you had this tang ? How big is the tang and what size tank is the tang in? Kelly |

I did Qt the new fish for 3-4 weeks.. and the new fish stopped eating about 1 week after getting in the main 135gallon tank and died. The powder blue is about 7inches and I have had him for about 7-8 months. The white strings are all over the fish. Face body and fins.
