Food for a tang in QT

Hi folks,

I have a 2 inch yellow tang in QT. I've tried him out with a few different foods (nori, Cyclopeeze, marine flakes), but the only thing it's really going for is chaeoto from my 'fuge. I just peeked at the QT, and it's slurping up the chaeto like it's spaghetti.

I'll keep on trying some different foods, but will the little guy be OK for the next 12 days (treating for ich) on a chaeto-heavy diet?

TIA!

keep trying other foods, just keep it eating anything it will take. Try soaking the other foods in garlic to help atrack the fiiiiiish to the food.

Nori and Formula Two, flake or frozen, would be on the top of my list.

Hi guys,

I think I found my tang's yummy spot: some red / purple macro that grows in my overflow. I just dropped some in, and he went NUTS for it. He is definitely eating it. At the very least, I know he will take some food in captivity. He also showed some interest in mysis.

Thanks for the help!
