Take it back down! sneak out to dismantle it about three a.m.; tell them you have no clue how it happened tomorrow morning.

Our tree doesn't go up until after Thanksgiving....the day after Thanksgiving to be precise. I have to put it up early for my annual holiday dinner the first or second weekend of December.

I gotta go up on the roof and do mine, I'll probably do it after thanksgiving. Seems like each year that roof is getting higher and higher off the ground. I'll just have to keep telling myself, don't look down, don't look down...

As a kid, my parents put the tree up during the early hours of Christmas Eve while we kids napped. This is still the best timing for me. I find it crazy to see trees discarded the day after Christmas.

We don't have much space in our living room so we usually only have like a 2ft. Christmas tree. Dad goes up usually a couple weeks before Christmas and finds one on the place here to cut, it usually sits on our porch until 3-4 days before Christmas when we actually get around to putting it up.

Damn, Nina, that's gorgeous!

I'm putting my tree up this weekend since I"m going home for Thanksgiving next week. I have a big tree, but I don't have room for it in this apartment, so I'm just putting up a small one.

Oh, Dino, you MUST rent that movie. It is hilarious. You will never look at christmas the same way. I'm giggling just thinking about it.

We were up in MA earlier this month - maybe two weeks ago - and I saw a fully decorated and lit christmas tree in someone's window. Couldn't help but wonder if it had been up since last year!!!!

What do you guys think about those upsidedown christmas trees? Apparently they're selling out already. I think they're just bizarre!!!

When? We only rent movies on New Years Eve and I'm not watching a Christmas movie on New Years! The day after Christmas we pack everything up because we've all had enough Christmas for one year.

The christmas tree that is up is probably for a military man/woman that had their stay extended. having two brothers in the Military we had a couple trees that stayed up a long time. one was up for over two years. ( no it wasn't a live tree)

LOL beester...it must be ITALIAN!

dino, do you have cable or dish t.v. out there in the boonies? tbs shows that movie on thanksgiving day i think. then on christmas eve, they do a marathon, one showing right after another for 24 hours. you can't tear me away from the t.v. that night! as many times as i've seen the movie, it still cracks me up!
