Corals for free/trade

I will be in Oshkosh the weekend of Oct 28th and I was wonder if anybody was interesed in trading corals or just taking some for free.

Here are my tank setups:
http://webpages.charter.net/mjsandbe...fications.html

Corals I am ready to trade:
Soft: Bullseye Buttons(red, green.orange), 3 types of colt, ...
LPS: Green Branching Fogspawn, White/Cream Branching Hammer
SPS: Green/plum/orange digita, milipora, ... an many other that I do not know the names of; I suck at naming SPS...

You could come to the meeting on the 29th although it's a drive from Oshkosh.

That is an interesting suggestion. Where/when is the meeting being held on the 29th? When in Oshkosh I generally have very little free time.

If I were to drive over corals from MN on the 28th I would want to hand them over to their new owners that night.

mjsandbe, if you don't have a lot of time you probably wouldn't be able to make it to the meeting, the place it's being held is I think 1-1/2 hrs or so away from oshkosh.

Sorry ronkent I will be traveling considerably south of wausau.

Thank you for the info on the meeting in Algoma, it is a bit further thank I can make while I am in town. I like the fact that you make the meeting info a sticky post. Now if I could only get my club to organize enough to have regular gatherings

I am posting the images here so anyone can see. PMing pictures can be a pain Too bad I am not a better picture taker. Colors look a bit differant in person.

You can see the buttons on the back glass of the 58 gallon. THey are pretty much buttons/zoos that have circles of color (red frill, green ring, orange center)

The first picture shows the branching hammer & green frogspawn.

Will you be going through Stevens Point? There are a couple of us in the Wausau area that would meet you on your way through. I was thinking you would be going across WI on hwy 10.

Wausau is 1/2 north and I could meet you in Stevens Point....pm me if you are interested and we could work out the details.

You can always stop at my place in La Crosse on your way through. You know I'm always willing to trade corals and show off my setup. This way you could see what I have in person, rather than through pics.

Brian (pogodzib) when it comes to driving to Oshkosh with the family, time is everything, four hours is long enough with out adding visits. My wife would kill me. Having said that, you are close enough to possibly be worth a special vist, have you show me around the LFS in La Crosse, introduce me to other reef keepers in the area, .... just ideas

Stigmatic if you are interested in trading, PM me to work out the details. Since you live in Oshkosh I am interested in seeing your tanksetup if you are willing.

Free to anyone who wants them:

Red/Green/Orange Zoos, they grow on the glass of my 58 gallon and I need to thin them out.

This picture is from when I first got them:

I picked up my corals from mjsandbe Friday night, you guys missed out! I got a big chunk of zoos (they look really cool!), a nice sized frag of orange scroll stuff (don't know the official name, it's the orange stuff in his pics above) and a really BIG frag of green millepora. Way bigger than I expected! ok, it's not that green yet cuz it was in a shaded area of his tank for a little while, but once it gets its color back it's gonna look awesome. I'll take a few pics & post them when I get a chance. Next time he comes down this way some more of you guys should hook up with him, great guy and great corals!

Thanks Michael!

nellie54914 & FEEDERFISH I am very happy that you are satisfied with your trades. I would love to see pictures of the corals in your tanks. I swear nellie54914 that the milipora is the same one pictured; FEEDERFISH 'stole' the smaller more recent frag. Hopefully once you have it in good light again it will color up in a few weeks.

Thank you very much for the trades. They all made it safely back to MN, although I do have to admit that the unattached mushroom is currently MIA.
