Talking So long and thanks for all the fish

I've accepted a position as Facilities Manager at a coral farm in Tonga.
I will be leaving for Tongatapu around the middle of November and between now and then will be selling pretty much everything I have. Full set-ups, rare coral, etc...
I will post to the appropriate threads once I'm down to an itemized list but i wanted my friends to start thinking about what they might like from my collection.
Also wanted to say that it's been a pleasure working with this club and its members for the past year and a half and I'll truly miss this community.
Cheers-Jim Adelberg

Wow, that sounds like a fun position to be involved in. Working, and being around what you love at the same time, cool deal. Congrats!

If you are selling a 50-75 gallon tank (I think you had a 60 acrylic for sale in the past?), I'd gladly take it off your hands for you. Especially if it's a wider tank.

WOW Jim, congrats!

I am envious of you, as that seems like it would be a great opportunity.

Any chance I can take the undata of your hands?

Congratulations!!!!

Do you need an assistant in Tonga? =)

I think more then a few members would die to be in your position!

The local club and hobby will miss you dearly.

Best wishes and best of luck.

mixed news

The great loss to the club, the community is mitigated only by knowing you are going to be doing what you are certainly well prepared to do, what Eddie needs you to do, and frankly the hobby is going to gain greatly from your new position.

Sorry to see you're moving, but congratulations big time.

PS thanks for everything you've done for everyone... most people probably don't understand what all you've done for the club, and I only know some of it, but you've been mighty in making this club live

Thanks all, it will no doubt be hard work but I'm prepared for that
I see it as the chance of a lifetime.
I may be able to break off some small frags of the LE "true" undata (this is the original colony that Eddie and I fragged for Steve Tyree) and I'll post to the livestock thread what's available as lists develop.-Jim

Dang Jim. Sorry to see you go, but at the same time congratulations. Get ready for a nice tan.

BTW, don't leave the porch light on. You'll attract too many hermit crabs.

Bon voyage from Central Cal.

Sorry to see you go. I'm not sure if anyone is aware but Jim has been the primary guy arranging the speakers and our club location. Not to mention our new swap format, and many other things he has contributed to. Thanks for all your work Jim and good luck @ Tonga.

It really has been an exciting year and I think the club is well on its way to being a great organization.
Thanks to all who helped me learn so much this past year and I'll post periodically so people can hear what's going on.-Jim

Are you going to occasionally fly in to judge what's rare or not at the Swaps?

Maybe in the future, the club can plan a road trip to come visit you.

Best of luck,

Roy
