Question pickeling lime

dose any one know where i can get pickeling lime in the hartford area
im all out and my ph is starting to drop help please.

try walmart, pickling season is fast approaching and they may have it.

If they do, buy enough to last you the year as it's a seasonal item not easy to find in the off season. imo

I have never been able to find the actual lime anywhere locally. I could find all the supplies, but never the lime.

I believe I ordered a case of it from www.mrswages.com or something like that. Was like $2 a bag or something.

agway in meredin has a shipment coming in on monday , i called this morning and i cought her as she was placing an order for things, and i asked her and she ordered some she said it will be in on monday so i guess we will see .

By the way how do you guys mix your lime, (lime to gal. )?

It has also been posted (maybe Randy, not sure) that you can add more lime (as long as you dose the clear water after it settles) and this can remove impurities in the source water. There was a long thread about adding more than saturation but I can't seem to find it (something about removing toxic heavy metals I think). I do this all the time.

it was a joke.. (hes my cousin...) he will get it. (the joke..). i explain it to him all the time...
