I love your tank. I see so many tanks that have so many different corals crammed in there....The open space really adds to the looks of the tank.

Question about your plumbing...I am guessing that the four black lines are your returns, are the four white lines, plumbed level across the back, your closed loop? Also, where did you find the black PVC? Thanks.

The 4 black 1" pipes are returns for my closed loop, and the 3 white 1" pipes are for the returns from my sump. I'm going to change the returns to 1 1/2" pipe (black) to get more flow from my Sequence Hammerhead.

asnatlas, just let me know when you want to stop by...

Originally it was in the external overflow box, but it sucked in too much air so I had to move it to the tank. It's not in any of the pictures I've posted so far, but I will tank some pics tonight.

Do you find the Sequence Hammerhead gives enough flow on 4 returns? I'm thinking about running one on a 4-Way for my closed loop on a 250g......

Definitely. I'm using the Sequence to feed the display tank and my 60g frag tank.

I'm using an Ampmaster 2100 for the closed loop.

Chris, I must have been on the moon. I had not seen all the work you did to get this up and running.

That is a spectacular job. I would like to see it sometime in person.

It's good to see a couple of old friends in the new home as well.

I'm using schedule 40 pvc from Savko. They have most of the standard fittings also in black.

Thanks Lindsey, you'll have to come over sometime. You won't believe how big the sailfin is getting.

I don't think I'll be adding any more fish load to my system for a while. Here is the list of fish I have the tank right now.
regal tang, sailfin tang, flame angel, blue cheek goby and 6 green chromis. I have a mandarin that's in my 100g refugium that I would like to put in the tank, if I can catch him that is. I also have a yellow tang in my frag tank that I would like to catch and put in the display tank also. I'm not sure if the sailfin would beat up on the yellow tang though.
As for corals, I want to give enough room for everything to grow big. I have pulled one big stag out that was brown with blue tips and replaced it with a cool looking a.nobilis. I've added a couple other frags to the tank to see how they'll do but I think that is it.

Thanks for all of the great feedback. I promise to post some more pictures as soon as I get time.

I was playing around in microsoft paint to see how my trim idea would look. My wall will not be this color, but I do want to paint the trim white.
The head piece will flip up for access to the front.

Here is an updated photo. The only thing I have been doing to the tank lately is dialing in my equipment for the additional water volume and water surface area. I reduced the return flow to limit some of the micro bubbles which helped a lot, but I still need to build a big sump with baffles. I'm getting good growth from my corals and I'm excited to see how it looks in a year or so.
