I'm in the same boat as you, clampet, but just a little worse off.
For me Hydrofarm's moving light system is cheap enough (about $110 or so for 4 feet, $120 for 6 feet). The problem for me is shipping -- shipping to the Philippines because of the way this thing will be packaged costs more than the actual product. That's why I want to DIY this thing instead. In your case, just do a search on marijuana growing or something (or I can be politically correct by saying "alternative produce", hee hee), and a lot of these hydrophonic/grow shops sell these things quite affordably. Now... back to your (and my) question: any DIY plans for these things? |
